How to join the Aerie Family

Thank you for your interest in becoming a part of The Gryphons Aerie Family. To get started in the application process, you should be sure to read our Rules and Members' Bill of Rights to ensure you are familiar with the core values of the guild. We both appreciate and require participation in chat and other interaction between members during the trial membership period and beyond. Why join a guild if you're not going to play with us?

We are looking for more PvE oriented members to help build up our core and bring us forward into higher level Fractals and eventually Raids. We would love to have more people who are willing and able to set up and take charge of weekly events (such as regular Dungeon/Fractal runs, group map completion in both Tyria and Heart of Thorns, guild missions etc.) on a regular basis. There is no need to have any dungeon experience to join us, nor do you need to use a "meta" build. We will do our best to help you learn as long as you are willing to do so.

If you are "hardcore" PvE, we might not be the place for you, but we would still love to have you if you're willing to help us all get better. Keep in mind that we do not support using "exploits" to complete dungeons, nor do we utilize or teach "speed runs".

If we sound like the place you'd like to hang your hat, head on over to our forum and register. Then fill out the application as instructed. The application asks for some basic things including what you prefer to be called, account name (for inviting purposes), your usual playtimes, preferred playstyle, and experience within the game. This is simply so we can get a better idea of how to best accomodate you and help you enjoy the game to the fullest. It shouldn't take much more than five or ten minutes to complete.

If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to ask. Once your application has been submitted, a member of the guild leadership will review it as soon as possible. This should take no more than 24 hours. Check back to see if you have been approved, or if you may need to correct some of your responses.

We all look forward to meeting you!
